Bet the National Championship Exacta

>...

There are 12 different teams to choose from - Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio, Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Texas and West Virginia. If none of those teams strike your fancy, you can choose a field to win or finish second (or both if you want). Here's a look at some of the more interesting combinations:

is the longest odds: bookmakers do not seem convinced that Auburn will beat LSU in the big game. It is a combination of the 113,769, so that a successful $ 100 bet would net you a lavish Italian sports car. This is a terrible bet, however. One team is assured of loss when the two teams will meet 16th September, and then one of them will have to come to the big game without playing in the conference championship game. Not going to happen, in other words. Interestingly, Auburn beating LSU pays only 80,121, so do not get rewarded almost as well as to bet a loser.

The shortest odds: people do not have tons of faith in the selection of teams that nude.Najkraći courses on board in 1341, for the area in relation to the field. This means that a lot of teams expected to do well should stumble badly and the other teams will have to rise from almost anywhere. It seems hardly fair - if I correctly chose Michigan State over TCU in the finals, I would like a heck of a lot more than 13 / 1 for my trud.Polje factors in the second shortest odds, too - Ohio State over the field paid 1408

.

revenge It would be very strange to see Texas and USC both overcome some pretty big player losses (by calling Vince Young and Reggie Bush great losses, that is) and meet again . If you think I'm wrong, you can throw money on the line in the 4497th If USC were to avenge their loss last year to pay 5623.Ponavljam not look very good in general for Texas.USC rematch is actually their lowest price, except on the ground. Texas over Ohio State would be unlikely because they already played this year, so 39,889 is not cheap.

of the injustices of the past: If you talk with any LSU fan, they will haunt you with it too much to tell about how they deserved Champs in 2003. I'd be tempted to choose the Tigers over USC (34 125) only to be finally able to close the fans. Similarly, a Miami win over Ohio State (23 454) can silence the 'Canes fans of terrible trials in 2002.

Rivalries: to see one of the all time great rivals playing on the biggest stage will be amazing. It would be very difficult for most of them to happen, however, since one team has to beat the other in the regular season, a team with a loss is not likely to appear in a championship game. However, I think how much fun it will be. Ohio State will pay 45 499 to beat my beloved Michigan, and the reverse is much less likely, to 80,000. Notre Dame is more likely to beat the Wolverines (45 630) than the opposite (80,000). Oklahoma, with its raw quarterback is more likely to beat Texas and raw QB (29 000) than the opposite (39 998). Florida is unlikely to beat Miami (53 282) and Florida State (58 759). USC is less likely to beat Notre Dame in a repeat of last year's epic game (32 942) from Notre Dame to extract revenge (23 545 ).

Area: truly magical type might not be part of the area, but there are some attractive teams involved. Unfortunately, the low ratio shows that other people have noticed the same thing. It is certainly not impossible for a team to get up out of nowhere - Oklahoma is 8-5 years before they won it all. Included in the group are Louisville and explosive offensive, Nebraska, which is the better at the end of last year, a big surprise to Penn State, and Cal, which could roll through the Pac-10 if USC falters. If you are one of the idealists who believe that non-BCS team going to make it to the big dance, one of these years, then you get the TCU, Utah, Fresno State and all the others, too.

Chasing big payoffs: If you want a really great result, there are other places to look than LSU over Auburn. There is only one potential six-figure payout (Florida State over Florida - 104 350), but what you can afford something really nice if Miami beats Florida (80 848), or if Michigan beats Florida State and LSU (74 493 for either). If you want great prices you'll want to stay away from Notre Dame, Ohio or fields. Bettors seem to particularly like.

The Simple Things in Life

Every now and then something happens in our lives that we feel is very unique in itself, in my case it was watching a football game. It is very important for me to watch a game like this is a team that I have supported for so long! In fact my whole life I was a Liverpool fan, I saw some great times and not so great times especially in recent years. Yes! We won three trophies in one particular season, and it was great, but even then it is still something missing. With a history of this great football club Liverpool FC has the best record when it comes to winning the English League. They won the European Cup more times than any other British soccer club on the 25th day May 2005 will be found with another golden opportunity for clinching this beautiful cup with big ears, now called the Champions League trophy.

so I was expecting this match, which had elements of a classic soccer spectacular. In one corner you have a powerful team from Italy, AC Milan. With a star studied the great football experts from Paolo Maldini, Andriy Shevchenko and Kaka talented new play maker. In the other corner you have my team Liverpool, which is somehow a terrible Premiership league campaign behind them, where they could only finish fifth behind their city rivals Everton and miss out on automatic Champions League spot for next season, but it inspired two Scousers, the club captain Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher irrepressible through the season, found themselves in the most lucrative football game in world football. It was a dream, not only for players but for all Liverpool fans around the world to see this great football club back where it belongs, on top of the charts in the world of football. So, on this night two great teams steeped in history fought for a place in history.

Going back to my day I rang a good friend of mine and if she wanted to watch the game with me at a local bar ... she said yes! It was supposed to be her first time seeing a game like this and was very excited about all this because everyone is talking about ... So we met up and walked to the bar. As we entered we could see that the place streaming with Liverpool fans, but you had even Milan fan or two hiding and keeping a low profile in the corner bar.

Thus we find a nice place to get a good look at the game and ordered some beers. You could feel the Predicting all the appearance of Liverpool fans at the bar, where some very cheerful!

The second looked just happy to be there. I was quiet outside, but inside I was a mess. Large screens on the walls that seemed larger than it really is anyone's attention, even some bar staff would be a little top of the screen, the place is buzzing.

My friend took her cigarettes and lit one, she was lucky to have that comfort, all I wanted at that moment was to get my beer and a game to start. Then as we watched the players come out, there was a loud cheer from the bar crowd and set one of the guys start singing "You'll never walk alone". I began to feel a little better and start to sing along with them, but only in my head. Then the game started, all I meant is that we try to put as much pressure on the Milan players from the get go. Then we gave away an early free kick, but at the time our beers arrived and the girl who brought it to us has my attention for a second or two and at that point he scored against Milan ... It was a hush of silence far from the bar and as I looked around I could see people in total shock at what had just happened. I thought that was foolishly left back our Djimi Traore is a terrible player, not fit to wear a Liverpool shirt, but he would later show me and everyone wrong. My friend tried to give me some moral support by smiling and saying, do not worry I still think Liverpool will win ... I just looked at the screen with strict distain.

The game is all in Milan, they were winning all the tackles, getting free kicks in dangerous mjesta.Liverpool players look tired, unsure and almost beaten, it's not a pretty sight, to be chasing shadows it seemed. I just kept looking around the bar trying to ignore what is happening, and then it got worse. How he looked like a penalty for Liverpool was rejected, and within seconds Milan broke away and scored. Then just before half-time break Milan broke away again and scored a third, so far everyone in the bar was silent and stunned, but even Milan fans I mentioned earlier were singing away happily in the corner. I was gutted! I look at my friend and said: Let's go ... She looked at me and said, OK! And as we left I looked back and looked at my fellow fans, and he hoped that Liverpool would not be embarrassed and go out in the second half and show some heart. As we walked home to my house I told my friend that I would cook for her and we could watch the rest of the game at my place.

We arrived at my house as the second half is about to begin, I turned on the TV, and then pulled out a bottle of red wine, it opened up and poured two large glasses and gave one to my friend.

She sat up suddenly and said, you know what Mark, "It's never over until fat lady sings'.

I think Liverpool may still come back and win, she said. I just looked at her again thinking this girl knows nothing about football, because if she did she would know that Milan would never give three goals for the team just outplayed for 45 minutes and its defensive nature that would be totally impossible Liverpool to make a comeback. So I smiled at her and told her to drink her wine while I prepared dinner. While I was cutting vegetables in the kitchen, I could hear her screaming on TV, which is strange because it did not do the bar. So I took a little peak for myself and noticed that Liverpool has made some changes, the German midfielder Dietmar Hamann is now on the ground and it gave me hope that Liverpool could maintain at least a decent result. But what is also not as good to make a Steven Gerrard free to roam and move forward.

Then there was another scream from my living room, my friend was jumping around, I came in silence, and Liverpool won. It was Steven Gerrard, change tactics worked, Liverpool seemed more to this game and the players looked different somehow, but Milan has remained convinced then two minutes later the game turned on the head, the ball is played with Vladimir Smicer and he drilled the ball home of 20 meters and Liverpool, where even in the game, I came running into the room screaming with happiness, which is exactly dogodilo.Zrak was electric again, i could not leave the living room and all of a sudden the game changed ponovno.Milan players looked shell shocked, because within a few minutes Liverpool was level conditions. Gerrard threw the Milan penalty area and was a violation. To a certain penalty, this time I was on my knees yelling at the ceiling. I'm sure my neighbors could hear everything. Even my friend was jumping for joy shouting, I told you, I told you !!!

She was right! It has proved one thing for me and it's all football Pundits and I knew nothing about football! Can I do this, you could actually win this match? No team has ever come back with three goals to win the Champions League Final. I had to stop cooking at that time said that the dinner will just have to wait and so we drank more wine and watched the rest of the game with our hearts in our mouths. It seemed that both of us had turned into screaming at the TV and it will continue until the now famous Jerzy Dudek "Hand of God" to save as Shevchenko denied the winner for Milan in the dying seconds of extra time. We were both quiet and my head in my hands at that moment ... The referee blew for full time and the game is over. At that point I had to get up and walk around the house, such as the nervous hell! I walked back into the living room, listening to the commentator remarking on how Liverpool won the penalty shoot out against Roma in 1984 and our goalkeeper at the time, Bruce Grobballar saved two penalties for the disposal of Roma players as he could and now it almost seems like deja vous .

Who will be the villain and who's going to be a hero, it is now the lottery! I needed more wine so I opened another bottle, my friend could not drink more it was just adamant that Liverpool will win. She noted, look at the Milan players do not look happy!

I had a look and noticed the same thing! They seem to be beaten before the first shot.

She's right, our goalkeeper was not anything he could to put out the Milan first shot scorer Serginho and radio! He missed the flame ball high above the bar. It was our turn next and I was not worried, because this is our German international Dietmar Hamann and as predicted he scored. I was quiet, but still nervous, it was their turn again, that would surely result, but again Jerzy Dudek in the antics on the goal line is not a job and saved easily. We would be 2-0 now if the French international striker Djibril Cisse to score after he suffered a broken leg and missing most of the season shows his class and calmly placed the ball on the right side of Milan goalkeeper Dida's goal as he has no chance. It is in our hands now, only two more of kicks, and we would champion of Europe. Kaka would result from their place of impact ... then our hearts were in our mouths when our left midfielder John Arne Riise missed his spot kick, it's now 2-1, but still in our favor, and before we knew him, Danish international Jon Dahl Tomasson is 2-2.

I started to think about all those who lost their lives going to see Liverpool play all the disasters that have occurred during a soccer game. My heart went out to them ... It is moments like this that makes it possible to see why soccer is so important that men and women on the street. We refer to it in so many ways. We support our team, because we have decided and win, lose or draw all the emotions of this sport and all the other sports can collect are worth it for moments like these. So, when everything is over and as I tried to figure out what just happened, one thing dawned on me and it was simple things in life that I cherish most and watching my team play one of them.

Big Bl - I Mean Big Red Drops Big Game To Big "D"

from Section 120 in Sunday's game against their division rival Dallas Cowboys, the only exciting thing I saw were a dozen fights in the stands. More about that in the next blogu.Igra not get off to a good start with the Cowboys quickly marching down the field and scoring a goal. But Big Red (for those ugly red UNIS), was able to bounce back and tie.

As the game progressed in a 7-7 tie the Giants a chance to pull away and really put the Cowboys on his heels. Instead of Eli Manning, Giants $ 50 million dollar man, I thought it would be best to throw in double coverage and behind the receiver and hit the Cowboys player with the ball instead.

...

Cowboys drove down the field and scored TD lead. The game is not all bad, with less than 2 minutes left in the half, both teams decided to really turn djela.Cowboysi achieve a TD to go ahead 17-14. Then for some unknown reason, Cowboys squib hit that gave the Giants some decent field position. Even with the position field coaching staff was ready to bag it and go in the half down by 3, with safe water Brandon Jacobs.Osobna error call the G-Men another 15 meters, and are now approaching the basket from igre.Lijepo pass from Manning to Shockey to set up the game tying goal.

...

Well, half rolls around, I decided to go to overpay for something to drink, and that is when I hear Chris Carlin on the radio giving out Eli's stats. At half the young Manning was 13 for 15 in the finish. All around me are all the same reaction. "What? He made that many complete?" Had it done so, but it's such a lackluster performance that is starting to get this fan Eli realize that the child may be nothing more than mediocre in his career. What is not a bad thing, however, the Giants defense, which dominated the previous 6 weeks, just not good enough to be a mediocre QB look better.

NFL Week 5 Point Spread Picks

Sunday 13:00 ET 1st ******* Cowboys (-12.5) VS. ****** Rams have strong feelings on this game.

2 ****** Packers (-1.5) VS. Vikings ******** This game is one of our five best bets for the week.

3 ****** Bears (-2.5) VS. LIONS ****** This game is one of our five best bets for the week.

4 ****** Texans (-2.5) VS. Sokolova ****** This game is one of our five best bets for the week.

5 Ravens (-4.5) VS. Browns: Browns are back home a loser as they were in week 2 when you are upset over the Bengals scored 50 points. Things figure to be much harder on that side of the ball against a very tough Ravens defense that bent some in the second half last week against the Arizona Cardinals before holding on to victory. QB Steve McNair once again had to leave the game early in the injury and at this point it is anyone's guess whether he or Kyle Boller will početi.Browns the other hand, have improved with QB Derek Anderson as they almost pulled off victory last week in Oakland against Raiders.Browns showed some of the offensive rhythm of the Cincinnati game and the character of RB Jamal Lewis to run all day long. Lewis will be looking to make a good showing that they have withdrawn from him last sezone.Gavrani defense is still very hard against the run with DT Haloti Ngata clogging the lane and things that should be no different ovdje.Problem to Baltimore, however, is at work as it seems to bog down from time to time, like last week against the Cardinals in the second polovici.Gavrani are also not a good road favorite as they have now gone just 6-14 ATS in their 20 road games omiljene.Browns enough talent to stay close to here, especially if McNair misses the game. If McNair is out, then this pick is even stronger for the Browns. On the other hand, if the Browns TE Kellen Winslow Jr. is missing this game with an injury, then we pass on this one and so would trebalo.PICK: Cleveland Browns (4.5)

6 Dolphins (-3.5) VS. Raiders: Raiders will come into this game full of confidence after beating the buzzer by blocking the Browns Phil Dawson potential winning shot. They are the kind of game scenarios that fuel the team next week and the Raiders are a good match against the struggling Dolphins team that has lost its way last week against the Jets. Miami is hurting for a win as the offense struggled and the defense was a shadow of its former top sebe.Raiders also qualify for a profitable 40-11 ATS in games after the script last second victory last week. It is clear that the team gain confidence after hard fought win, and that additional focus for next week's game. Miami should win this game, but only a field goal. Go to the Raiders to stay close enough to pokriju.PICK: Oakland Raiders (4)

7 ****** Jets (-3.5) VS. ITEMS ******* we have a strong opinion on this game.

Sunday 16:00 ET 8th Panthers (-2.5) VS. Buccaneers: Carolina Panthers will turn to backup QB David Carr as the starter Jake Delhomme will miss this one injury. Carolina is maddeningly contrary to this season as the Rams dominate on the road in contrast to their poor Week 1 effort Week 2 against the Texans at home and nearly lost the Falcons last tjedna.Buc the other side were a nice surprise this season as QB Jeff Garcia is just what coach Jon Gruden is necessary as far as the QB he can win s. the defense also played amazing and speaks of his death from old age neutemeljene.Panthers should win this one, but they are so inconsistent that it is difficult to say what he would do. Carr is also a big question mark here was never proven he can win games consistently. Tough one to call but if you must go with the home team here. No trends that stand out and one on both sides so it might be best to release this ipak.PICK: Carolina Panthers (-3)

9 ***** Seahawks (-2.5) VS. 49ers ****** This game is one of our five best bets for the week.

10 ***** Colts (-9.5) VS. ****** Broncos have a strong opinion on this game.

11 CHARGERS (-11.5) VS. Chiefs San Diego Chargers are a team in disarray as a QB and RB are arguing on the sidelines and both do not play well to go with almost everyone else on the team is losing two of their top three. Things will be easier at home against a weak head that could not enter the zone defense kraja.Punjači must be able to dictate this one against the Kansas City offense that can throw the ball with any consistency, and once again sparked a star RB Larry Johnson to see constant dose from 8-man fronte.Načelnici have better than average defense, but they should be able to keep in close ovdje.Punjači are just too out of sync recommend them cover a large number and they can also be applied in a very negative 25-58 -1 ATS week 4 scenario in which they favored over 8 at home after gubitka.Načelnika not a good team but they have enough defense to keep them in the game. Take the points and bank on closer game than many predviđaju.PICK: Kansas City Chiefs (11.5)

12 ***** Steelers (-5.5) VS. ******* Cardinals have a strong opinion on this game. Sunday night 8:15 ET

13 ******* Eagles (-2.5) VS. ****** Giants have strong feelings on this game. On Monday night, 8:30 ET

14 ****** Patriots (-7.5) VS. ****** Bengals have a strong opinion on this game.

Joe Gibbs New Book - Game Plan For Life

on Friday, 31 August my neighbor Jeff and I went to Charlotte to breakfast at Weston hear my friend, coach Joe Gibbs to talk about his new book hot off the press: Game Plan for Life, co-author Jerry Jenkins.

I'd say that's a pretty good turn-out. More than 1200 people, to be exact! We sat at the table next to Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory. There were several former NFL players there and some people have too much NASCAR. Joe introduced his son JD, who is now president of Joe Gibbs Racing.

Joe is always a great sense of humor and some amazing stories from football on the grill.

So here's a guy who was a physical education major from San Diego State University. He goes on to be offensive line coach at four major universities before moving to the National Football League. For seventeen years, he worked as an assistant coach at St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Diego Chargers before the call to become the new head coach for the Washington Redskins.

Despite losing the first five games with the Redskins, Joe went on to lead the team for 12 seasons and led them to eight playoff appearances, four NFC titles and three Super Bowl titles.

In 1996, Gibbs was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. He was one of the winningest coaches in NFL history, at that time have a record of 124 wins and 60 losses, and the post-season record of 16 wins and five losses.

If this were not enough, the retired (first time) from the Redskins, in 1992, Joe turned his full attention to NASCAR racing teams and now has three NASCAR titles. The driver Bobby Labonte has a title and Tony Stewart won two championships. And this season is looking strong with their latest driver, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Bush and Joey Logano. Joey is the youngest driver in history to win the Sprint Cup race at just 19 years.

so it's definitely an honor and a privilege to know Joe and his wife Pat in person. I first met when Joe Lake Norman area's young life was born, splitting off the Charlotte area eleven years ago. My wife and I were honored to chair the Leadership Committee of the adult non-profit high school youth organzation - younglife.org. We often hold our monthly meeting where Joe Gibbs will be walking home with one of the big baby on his shoulder with a burp cloth. Joes' son JD and his wife, Melissa joined the board continues to actively support young life.

So, Joe was on this whirlwind tour to promote hard his new book, Game Plan for Life for about a month now. His fierce determination and focus that are reminiscent of his coaching days was evident as he travels the country getting the word out.

Since the beginning of this book? Thank you for asking. He was commissioned a study that essentially asked the question, what are the key issues that will lead people to "successful" life?

He has compiled an incredible list of Christian men (Josh McDowell, Chuck Colson, Ron Blue and many others), writing about various topics, which is woven together Joe's personal testimony. He will also call for a video of all of these authors (each committed to do four hours of talks with coach Gibbs next year). Gibbs believes that it is his legacy of work.

aptly foreword written by former Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy, who also won the Super Bowl.

The book is interwoven with many fascinating stories from Joe's colorful career and suddenly starts shooting death of Redskins player Sean Taylor.
