When you're playing doubles tennis or squash any name implies 2 or a team, then in the first place it doubles the player is to protect and enhance their partner.Stara adage "Love begins at home!" was never truer than in the doubles court.
Good teams are helping their partners, they keep the game plan. They are consistent and predictable and provide emotional support and understanding, and stand by their partner through a bad time, as well as good. Once this attitude means that you have the opportunity to sort out what is happening in the game, communicate with your partner, and perhaps eventually overcome.
Even if you were playing with the same partners for years none of you are mind readers, letting your partner know how it feels not only wrong, but useful. When you feel strong to take responsibility to hit the big shots at key points, you feel more defensive then play it safe until you return to the trust. You can, however, must take responsibility for themselves, and honestly evaluate your performance on the court at any time utakmice.Deformiran perspective is not necessarily beneficial for your team.
to remember years ago in England when I was playing and captaining our Sussex County Women's teams in the competition entitled "The County Week," which is where the 6 counties get together on a particular place with a minimum of 9 tennis courts and play 5 games in 5 days. Each day consists of two county teams of 3 pairs of each play three matches against other teams for a total of nine matches on the day.
This is a grueling schedule, which means even when they lost to the # 1 team the day you have to then go out and play the # 2 team and then again, no matter the outcome, which must focus again for the third match of the day against # 3 team. Now here's where I learned about perspective and that the "eye of the beholder"
I dropped one of the players on my team. In the discussion that ensued about why, she said, "But I did not miss one of my return to serve the whole day!" Unfortunately, her partner's perspective is that not even her opponent standing on the net volleying the ball for the winner! That he really was playing with her partner, she would have noticed and to change, or at least come off the court apologizing for "work her partner threatened every time one of her return to serve !"
The same applies for doubles squash, it means being aware of the shots you hit and how they affect your partner. For example, if your partner is slow, hard cross-court may seem like a good idea, but if it fails to get past your opponent, your partner May you find yourself in a bad position, no way to cover the next shot.
game to enhance your partner's strengths and cover their weaknesses and obviously vice versa is true for your opponent, play to expose their weaknesses and negate their power. If they wanted to run, keep them in the back, if you like hitting the ball hard, then float the ball over their heads, hi and back. Move immobile or slow players around the pitch, dragging them back and forth.
Give your partner a clear message, whether verbal or non verbal moving forward and into position without hesitation. This will make your partner work covers so much easier, and thus relax and trust between you and will be built, and where they stand and what to cover will be obvious.
Let your partner do their job and have faith and trust in them. You can try to hit your ball and expect them to play with confidence and determination. You have chosen to play with that person and support them. Giving them dirty looks and mumbling yourself when you miss a shot definitely will not support their partners weakens confidence and will only succeed in ensuring that look unkind to everyone's eyes except his own.
Treat your partner to want to be treated. Support them through the rough patches and celebrate their victories, so you'll have a friend for life and enjoy all their matches to win or lose. I wish you fun on the court.
