Building a leadership position when the new business should be on top of your priority list. People want to join with a person who demonstrates leadership qualities, and can help them achieve their goals. If you can figure out how to do it right off the bat, even without the experience yourself, your business will grow faster than you thought, and so will you. Acting as a leader, you must do what leaders do. There are 7 essential steps to build confidence as a leader.
1 Take care of yourself with personal development. I can not stress this enough. Every day should be set aside time for you to grow as a person. If you do not start with this, you will succeed. Point blank. Used books, CDs, audio tapes, etc., and commit. Make sure you have time management skills and organizational skills.
2 Develop confidence in telephone conversations. So many newbies trip up the phone, their hearts sink, and they never want to answer their phone again. I was there. Done that. Therefore, studies on Jeffrey Combs, Dani Johnson, etc., and build confidence on the phone. Learn how to deal with complaints that people can throw at vas.Dobra idea is to practice with family members or friends. (Make sure that those who support your success.) Let's pretend that the prospect and ask them to issue you might encounter. Do this by phone or in person with them. Do not be embarrassed. This will help you build your confidence so you will not be embarrassed when it really counts.
3 Have a step-by-step plan set out for new business partners. You should have one of the sponsors, as well as e-mail welcome to learn from him. Adapt to fit you, and they are ready for them. Also, the training site platform will need. Where will they get training for YouTube, AdWords, Twitter, blogging, etc.? If you do not have your own material to give them, but use what your team is using, or using the sponsor's training materials. Being able to give them something to help them get started right away. You're a good customer service in the beginning, so be prepared to instruct them in the right direction.
4 Start publishing information ezine articles on video, on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Use the information you receive, and pinching it to yourself. Do not announce that you just learned something. Make your face known to all marketing arenas.
5 Everything you offer, add to your marketing materials, such as your web site, e-mail tracking, blog, etc. If you have just published a video on YouTube about how cross-employment, then shoot out to your list. If you publish your ezine article, throw a post about it on his blog, and send people to it. If your sponsor or team for webinar, to launch "chirp". Talk about what you offer your new business partners, too. About your one-on-one coaching, your team is training in AdWords, etc. All I can offer you should be taking in every face.
6 Talk to your sponsor each week. Do not skimp on it. Even if you achieve what you need for that week, it does not matter. This is the only way you get the hang of it. And, talk to your team once a week, too. At least. No need to hand hold, but is encouraged and be their cheerleader. They'll need it for, just as you need from your sponsor. Be in the business of creating independent contractors, and your team and income will soar!
7 Be active in your business. Consistently active. You have to lead by example. When you are proactive in their own success, while others will follow. Show leadership being a leader.
